Welcome to PETRA.  Professional Education & Training Research Associates (PETRA) is an educational and research organization designed to provide specialized training and instructional programs for local, regional, national, and international public safety and governmental agencies.  Courses are available for public and private security professionals as well.  PETRA has been designed to provide the latest training and technology used by American law enforcement experts today.  PETRA offers both academic and vocational programs that are professionally designed and ready for immediate implementation.  What we teach our students today can be applied tomorrow to real world situations.

All of the courses have been designed for live lecture presentation and can be offered in a modified, extended, or modular format.  Courses can be taken individually or as a group and can be presented in a variety of locations in the Los Angeles area or at a location near you. 

                PETRA Associates bring a wide variety of expertise and experience from the public and private sectors  In addition, we offer an extensive list of adjunct members who are still on active duty with their organizations, departments and agencies.  PETRA offers a wide variety of public safety and emergency responder courses, including topics such as Olympics and Special Events, Incident Command, Environmental Safety and Hazards, Waste Management and environmental clean-up Laws, Crime Scene Investigation, Aviation Security and Emergency Management of Terrorism, Community Policing, Cyber Crime, Police Management and Control, First Responders and Awareness Training, Military Police and additional courses.
